Nestled deep within the verdant embrace of the century-old Nai Lert Park, Aman Nai Lert Bangkok is a masterpiece by visionary architect Jean-Michel Gathy. The design upholds Aman’s signature DNA of serenity while transcending traditional boundaries through pioneering materials and craftsmanship, achieving a harmonious symbiosis of aesthetic language and pragmatism.

At the heart of the lobby, an oval atrium is anchored by a century-old tree. Light filters through intricately designed wooden lattices, casting ripple-like shadows across the floor to create a visual sense of airy openness and transparency.

The walls feature light-colored stone and teak, inviting the organic breath of the jungle indoors and establishing a material dialogue between history and modernity. The designers ingeniously incorporated 21Parkhouse® Flexible Stone as the interior wall finish. As light filters through the openwork screens, the bamboo texture flows between the solid and the void, evoking an otherworldly sense of serenity and timeless distance.

This uncompromising pursuit and mastery of detail serves as the cornerstone of Aman's confidence as a premier hotelier. It reflects a commitment to ensuring that every guest enjoys a luxury experience that is truly worthwhile.

While bamboo weaving is an integral element of traditional Thai design, its inherent flammability has historically presented a significant challenge to architectural fire safety. The material solution implemented at Aman Nai Lert Bangkok offers fresh inspiration and a valuable precedent for spatial design.

Compared to traditional bamboo weaving, the application of Flexible Stone not only visually captures the natural essence of handmade craftsmanship but also features Class A fire resistance. This compliance with modern architectural safety standards ensured the successful realization of the design concept.

# Class A Fireproof
Flexible Stone has achieved EU Class A fire resistance certification and fully complies with China's National Class A standards for fireproof building materials. In the event of a fire, its non-combustible nature, high-temperature resistance, and structural stability (preventing detachment) effectively inhibit the further spread of flames.

# Replicating Natural Stone
Flexible Stone features rich three-dimensional textures, authentically replicating the natural touch and look of stone, wood, and woven fabrics. Utilizing advanced 3D coating technology with a vibrant color palette, it unlocks limitless possibilities for design imagination.

# Formaldehyde-free, No Irritating Smell
Odors in newly renovated spaces primarily stem from formaldehyde, the benzene series, TVOC, and ammonia. Flexible Stone is an innovative, eco-friendly material that is completely formaldehyde-free. Engineered with a specialized internal microporous structure, it actively adsorbs and decomposes toxic airborne substances (such as formaldehyde). This capability provides rapid and efficient purification of post-renovation odors, facilitating a swift opening timeline for hotels.

21Parkhouse® Flexible Stone blends the design languages of nature and modernity. By leveraging advantages such as authentic material reproduction, Class A fire resistance, and formaldehyde-free odor purification, it perfectly embodies the spatial aesthetics distilled from the union of material and design, unlocking infinite possibilities for creativity.
