  • 28. How many design panels does flexible stone have?

Flexible stone comes in 2, 4, or 8 panels, depending on the type and size. This variety ensures that the textures appear natural and non-repetitive, maintaining an authentic and seamless look.

  • 29. Is flexible stone scratch-resistant, and how should scratches be treated if they occur?

Embossed (textured) products are more prone to scratches compared to flat-surfaced products. Therefore, it is important to protect the material during transportation and installation. If scratches do occur, they can be treated by applying water-based paint that closely matches the color of the surface to cover the scratch.

  • 30. What generation of technology is 21parkhouse's flexible stone currently using?

Embossed (textured) products are more prone to scratches compared to flat-surfaced products. Therefore, it is important to protect the material during transportation and installation. If scratches do occur, they can be treated by applying water-based paint that closely matches the color of the surface to cover the scratch.21parkhouse's flexible stone is currently in the process of upgrading from the fourth generation to the fifth generation of production technology. In comparison, most other manufacturers on the market still use first-generation traditional single-color technology or UV printing technology.

  • 31. Is the 3D coating applied throughout the entire thickness or just the surface?

It is surface 3D coating, applied only to the outer layer of the flexible stone.

  • 32. Is the 3D coating technology exclusive to 21parkhouse?

Yes, the 3D coating technology is an exclusive patented technology of 21parkhouse. It has not been licensed to other manufacturers. Most other manufacturers use UV printing technology, which has poorer weather resistance and tends to fade when used outdoors for extended periods.

  • 33.What are the differences between flexible stone and paint?

    Form of Application:

    1. Paint is a semi-finished product applied in liquid or paste form during construction, while flexible stone is a pre-fabricated finished panel.

    2. Construction Influence:

During paint application, the final color and texture can be affected by the skills of the worker and weather conditions, leading to inconsistencies in appearance. In contrast, flexible stone is a pre-manufactured product, ensuring a more stable and consistent construction outcome.

    3. Durability and Weather Resistance:

The artificial accelerated aging test for regular paint is 250 hours, and it typically lasts 5-6 years outdoors. In comparison, Keda Mei flexible stone has been tested for 2000 hours, equating to a lifespan of 40-50 years outdoors. Therefore, the weather resistance of flexible stone is 6-8 times greater than that of regular paint.

  • 34. What is the difference between the Pro series and 3D products?

The 3D product is a third-generation product, while the Pro series is a fourth-generation upgraded product. The main difference between the third and fourth generations lies in the upgraded pressing production process, which makes the product more standardized and reduces thickness and size errors. Currently, the Pro series has a maximum size specification of 1200×600mm.

  • 35. Is there a price difference between the first-generation and fourth-generation products?

Currently, first-generation products are no longer in production. The price is mainly influenced by production volume. Once the products are mass-produced, the price tends to decrease.

  • 36. Why doesn't flexible stone have vibrant colors like the image above?

Flexible stone is primarily made from natural inorganic materials such as stone powder and clay, so its colors are not as vivid as those in the image above. However, we can provide high-definition samples with 360 dpi resolution to show the actual effect and give you a better idea of the color and texture.
